- Those that believe the Bible and then try to add evolution have a severe conflict in their theology. Romans 5:12 states, “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.”
- This reveals that there was no death of anything before Adam sinned. 1 Corinthians 15:21–22 says, “For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.”
- Nothing could die prior to Adam's sin!
- They could not die from old age
- They could not kill each other
- They could not die accidentally
If anything died prior to Adam’s sin, then you have the punishment (death) before the crime (sin). God would never punish before the crime was committed. “Evolution teaches that for millions of years before man things have lived and died. They have fought and struggled, killed and been killed. Death has been “from the beginning.” The Bible clearly teaches that death, particularly the physical and spiritual death of man, entered the world only after the first man, Adam, sinned.”
You can believe evolution if you choose, but if you try to add evolution to the Bible you simply reveal that you really do not believe God’s Word.
